Montreal, October 4, 2026 — Interac e-Transfer payments are now automatic at NordikServer. To pay an invoice, send an Interac e-Transfer to interac@nordikserver.com and write the invoice number in the message. The matching invoice is then marked paid, with no manual confirmation.
Automatic Interac e-Transfer invoice payment is available now. A manual check may still be needed in some cases.
How automatic Interac e-Transfer payment works
You pay a NordikServer invoice from your bank or banking app. When the deposit notice arrives, the system reads the transfer message and the amount received. If it finds one open invoice with that invoice number and that exact amount, the invoice is marked paid automatically.
No extra account is required. An Interac e-Transfer is the same step as before. What changed is that the invoice is now recognized on its own.
How to pay a NordikServer invoice by Interac e-Transfer
- Open the unpaid invoice in your client area and note its number.
- Create an Interac e-Transfer to interac@nordikserver.com.
- In the transfer message, write the invoice number, for example 12345.
- Send the exact amount of the invoice balance, in Canadian dollars.
Once the number and the amount match, the invoice payment is applied. You do not need to email us to confirm an Interac e-Transfer that was already recognized.
What to write in the Interac e-Transfer message
The message is what links the transfer to the right invoice. Enter the number exactly as it appears on the invoice. A missing number, a wrong number, or an amount that does not match the balance due will block automatic payment. The transfer then waits for a manual check.
Manual review of an Interac payment
For now, automatic payment is working without issues. An Interac e-Transfer may still need a manual review, especially if the invoice number is not in the message or the amount does not match the invoice. In that case, NordikServer applies the payment on our side.
